What National Merit Selection Index does a Colorado student need?
For the class of 2026, the most recent year with officially confirmed cutoffs, Colorado required a Selection Index of 219. The Selection Index runs from 48 to 228 and is calculated from the PSAT/NMSQT taken in October of junior year, doubling the sum of the Reading, Writing and Language, and Math section scores.
